  1. The problem with that Facebook thingy is – even to an Aussie who uses ‘advert’ occasionally – that text makes no sense. That is the wrong place to use “advert”. I assume they’re talking about ‘advertising guides’ or as we would say ‘ad guides’,

    1. Well from a British perspective I don’t think of the use of “advert” is necessary wrong. I do, however, think it use is redundant as the sentence still makes as much sense with it removed.
